Excellent service with private butler, beautiful setting on the Saigon River. Excellent food as well.

Was a perfect gorgeous space for my friends wedding, and a lovely restorative and relaxing stay for the weekend. If I ever needed a place to stay in Vietnam I would stay here again and again. Mia was super helpful and lovely and made my stay perfect. :)

Great location, fabulous butler service ( Lynh was wonderful), lovely boat shuttle to the city

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were taken care of every step of the way. Our butler was Lynh, and she's was unbelievable amazing throughout every moment of our trip. This was our first trip to Vietnam and she made it such an amazing experience. We were able to count on her to setup everything for us from bookings, to coordinating and more. They're lucky to have her!

We had a wonderful stay at An Lam Retreat Saigon. Nestled in nature by the riverside, this place is a true cocoon of serenity and calm. It was the perfect setting to relax, recharge, and fully enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. A special thank you to our butler, Tran, who took amazing care of us — she was absolutely lovely, attentive, and always so helpful and kind.Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the entire team for making our stay so special. You were all fantastic!

Everything was perfect!

Property really clean and luxurious. Food really good and priced fairly. The complimentary shuttle into the city was great via boat. Had the most amazing 90 min deep tissue massage ever! Our Butler Mia was so attentive, organised everything and nothing was too much trouble.

The ONLY criticism was the breakfast boxes provided by the hotel on our departure ( as we had to leave before service ). The bread items were stale and the cold coffees were loaded with sugar and undrinkable.

Beautifully designed boutique hotel built in a small forest next to the river, which makes you soon forget that you’re actually in the outskirts of Saigon. Excellent personalized service.

The room was comfy with nice river location. Boat service to city was good, but well needed due to extremely remote location.

Service was sub par for an alleged five star hotel. Team was friendly but inexperienced. We arrived slightly before check in and were essentially abandoned to our own devices until they were ready to check us in... no information, no service. It seemed expected that we just sit and wait, and not do anything, until they were ready to check us in.Hotel is charging a premium but not delivering a five star experience. Breakfast buffet was very basic. Cannot bring in outside food or drink, and nothing in vicinity, so you'll pay a lot for basics. Beer outside hotel VND 20k cp to VND 200k in hotel. Taxi to airport on grab VND 130k cp to VND 1.7M if you take hotel up on their outrageous offer. Etc

perfect hotel for what we were looking for - outside of the city, peaceful, luxurious accommodation that allowed us to unwinddelicious and varied buffet breakfast with new dishes every day including vietnam soups and specialty mealsour butler was helpful and polite, as were all the staffrooms were very comfortable and large, with complimentary water our private pool was fantastic

boat shuttles into the city weren't at convenient times to explore HCM - which was fine because we were happy to stay at the resort anyway!

We arrived and within minutes a storm started. Yet it was even more beautiful and the staff totally unfazed and still delivered a great welcome. Service 10/10 - staff were impressive. Late check out given a gesture well received as we had a 9pm flight. Food was really good. We had Mia as our butler wow. She was exceptional. Made the last day of our 18 days travelling around Vietnam really great by being so attentive. It’s a lovely rustic jungle vibe it’s beautiful really glad we chose this place it felt incredible to stay here. One night wasn’t enough.

Tiny issue. Cold water. Water is in the room in lovely bottles. But no cold water in the fridge. The bottles they have can’t really fit in the fridge. Unless you put them with the booze shelf but would take a while to make cold. I really wanted cold water and on the morning I woke up up and didn’t want to request ice when I had just woke up. There was only had sparkling to purchase from minibar. No bottled water available to buy.

We had a lovely 3 day stay here at the end of a 3 week trip through Vietnam. Facilities and staff are all five star. Breakfast every day was wonderful and appreciated the well equipped gym. Linh our butler was so kind and patient and nothing was ever too much, thank you to everyone at A Lam!

Decent breakfast.

The location was quite inconvenient since there were not any options nearby and the access was difficult (no pavement just gravel full of rubish), a taxi to the city was 45 minutes. All the installations looked better in the photos, the rooms were built and decorated with cheap materials that did not reflect the price we payed. We booked a room with river views, but the view was almost completely obstructed -I do not mind the trees but they should not promote a view and make you pay more for it when there is not one-. Staff was kind and tried to be helpful, but the service was disappointing regardless. Not good value for your money, for the same price you can get much much better options in the city.

Best pillows, sheets, toilet paper, air con, mosquito net and in fact everything absolutely perfect.

Location and design particularly. Boat transportation was excellent. The food and drinks were above my expectations and impressed me. Great services and lots of activities. The room was excellent and the staff were very attentive and accommodating. They helped to make it a really special trip for a special occasion - having support via Zalo throughout the stay was really convenient.Overall it was a really relaxing and peaceful stay.Will stay again.

This is a jungle oasis. It’s a day time retreat very quiet in the evening .. no entertainment or music … but tranquil Peaceful

I would like to have seen some more menu options or specials especially if you there three nights or more lunch and diner menu are the same

It was as perfect of a jungle retreat as you can imagine. The staff was very helpful, the room and facilities were great. The gym was actually equipped enough for a small training. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

If you want to enjoy the iconic but rather hectic city of Ho Chi Minh, but stay on a resort basis surrounded by tranquility and lush vegetation just outside of its rather polluted centre, this is the perfect hotel for you. Situated only half an hour from the airport by taxi, and providing a free speedboat guest shuttle service down the Saigon river into the heart of the city running multiple times a day taking 20 minutes, the hotel has it all covered. Rooms are modern and very Five Star in nature. We stayed in one of the hotel's pool villas immediately adjacent to the gentle trickle of the Saigon river. The room was huge and felt like sheer luxury.The hotel’s restaurant, also adjacent to the Saigon river, is outstanding. Whilst its menu doesn’t boast a shopping list-length choice of Vietnamese cuisine, the hotel's food (both Vietnamese and non-Vietnamese) nevertheless scores a comfortable 10 out of 10, featuring bespoke and delicious dishes. The breakfast buffet was as good as it gets too. Overall, staff hospitality couldn’t have been more welcoming and proactive. No problem, large or small, was too much trouble for them. Particular thanks Merrick go to Linh. We will definitely be back!

RetreatRelaxing stay at the end of our Vietnam trip. Hotel and grounds are well designed and plenty of secret spaces to explore. Our rooms were excellent and well designed – we were kindly o'ered an upgrade during our stay. Breakfast was very good. We ate here for all our meals during our 3 night stay and food was good if a little expensive compared to eating well in HCMC and elsewhere in Vietnam. All the restaurant sta' were lovely and attentive. Special mention to Lynh who looked after us and was always always available during our stay.
